Opening Bank Account Properly

Hello Sovereigns,   I would appreciate if someone would be kind enough to explain me the process of opening up a new bank account "properly" (without SSN/SIN, reservation of rights etc) in Canada. Alternatively, if i can be directed towards some educational resources pertaining the above subject matter for self study and DIY I would appreciate that as well please and thank you.
