Issues Opening a bank account in Florida

Has anyone located in the state of florida opened a trust account at a local bank. I tried at wells fargo. They said any business account had to be registered with the state. I am currently searching other banks tonsee if they all work the same way. If not i guess i will have to go out of state to open on. At the moment is process is costing me more than what I make. AMAZING!
