A4V Processes

If your trying discharge/setoff "presentments" that a company sent you and that is demanding payment, who do you recommend I send the A4V'd stamped, Original Presentment to and who gets the copied version? Or do I keep the Original myself and send copies to the company sending the presentment and the IRS locations?
