Birth Certificate bond and the steps needed to go through to be able to cash it out

I went onto Fideliy the other day and the confirmed it was a Bond. Now what is the next step, someone recommended seeing a financial adviser to check the actual value of the bond through the Federal Reserve.  What happens after that?
