I understand people want to discharge convictions to get rid of the mark on their record and repair their reputations and such. But I want to know of there is any additional benefit. Having a background that is tainted wont affect work situation since being soverign we will work through the UBOT LLC. Only if someone is not able to self sustain will they be subject to working for another person (within the matric) where background checks are used (and used to discriminate). I suppose my question is if someone does not seek or is unsuccessful in getting a conviction discharged will this in anyway prevent them from being able to acquire their documents to travel/ID documents, limit either ability to travel globally, and/or operate sovereign? From what I read I feel the answer to this is no but I am still new to this and want to be sure. As well, if there any additional benefits to having a conviction discharged that is relevant or important to the sovereign process please enlighten me.

Thanks.
