Notice to beneficiary's minor

Hi I've researched this question and looked into the mega info.....I'm trying to give notice to my trusts beneficiry but she is a minor. Her mom and i aren't together anymore and live in different states....can anybody please let me know how to go about doing so? My ex and myself get along great so i'd have no problem listing her as custodian...Thankyou GodBless
