perfecting a Banker's Acceptance

I am looking to perfect an invoice for services rendered by a client of mines that is a SPC and deposit the Invoice into my bank account. He is wanting to make payment by "Accepting for Value and Honor..." and stamping that on the invoice to pay me. What are te steps in doing so, legally? (i.e. perfecting a banker's acceptance.
