Perfecting right to travel
I have recently been learning about the secured party creditor process and right to travel. I received a package from a friend he got from freedomfromgovernment.com I'm pretty sure and it sort of led me down the rabbit hole of redemption. I'm about half way through the 3rd manual and have learned a lot of interesting stuff but have also been left with a growing list of questions. I'm curious to know how important it is to file a UCC Financing statement before exercising my right to travel. My friend has been using private plates on his van with a fair amount of success without having filed any sort of documents with anyone. If it is of crucial importance to file the statement before hand, this sparks the question of what is crucial and beneficial to put on the statement as collateral. What I mean is do I need to complete my declaration of trust with the respective documents i.e. security agreement, treasury direct account info, etc. or can it be filed in a simpler way? Is it better to include as much as I can or as little as I can, or is that the wrong question to be asking? I'm eager to learn but I'm also a bit scared of making some sort of critical mistake that throws a wrench in the entire process... I have many more questions and ideas and I'm very happy to have such a great new resource and look forward to all that is to come! Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this and for any help and support you can offer.
