Why go dark

PJericho asked 5 years ago

My first post by this title went out because I clicked the wrong prompt. My apologies.

Although I am not officially asking a question, I am responding to the array of frustrations I and many others have felt since the revelation of what this forum addresses;that being the PROCESS of gaining wisdom, knowledge, and insight to the said process of what, why, and how to move forward to attain any status at all.

Let me begin that I have been at this for only two years and have realized that certain information I would deem helpful for me to move forward has indeed been denied. Why? Why would anyone who has the knowledge, experience, and understanding not want to help when I ask a question? The answer is very simple. Those people have worked hard over time to get what they have and wisely withhold certain elements from me in their answers to my questions. I, of course, have felt slighted, ignored, and abandoned. The truth really was, my WANTS were being substituted for my NEEDS. I NEED others at times to withold certain information from me because it is the wisest thing to do. I obviously did not see it that way. Now I am doing exactly the same thing to others myself. What I have attained myself is not going to be thrown out there for every Tom, Dick, and Harry as if what I did means nothing. I worked for what I do have and I have to recognize that at times the "NO ANSWER" is as valuable as "AN ANSWER" when administered by someone who really knows the story. In the early 1980's there was a book that was about all the people in America won a million dollars or more and what happened to them. 80% of them were either homeless, bankrupt, addicted or dead. They being human thought they could handle something they had no business having because they WANTED instead of NEEDED. This forum is about people helping people in the most wise sense possible. There are a lot of resources on this site which also leads to other resources. Asking a question deserves an answer even if the answer is "no" or "keep studying", etc. etc. It may initially not feel good at times but my help for everyone today is continue to do our homework, ask questions, give wise answers and be patient with yourself and others. Have a great day!!
