Now that I am an SCP what if a collection agency decides to send me a subpoena, do I ignore it and discharge the judgement later?

Before becoming an SPC I started paying $200 a month to a collection agency and after becoming educated I did some searching and found the agency could not answer the validation request so I told them if they could not provide debt validation they are committing fraud and all payments will stop until they can prove the debt. If they file a subpoena should I file a motion of discovery to get all the paperwork they have and try to fight it or just ignore the subpoena and get rid of the judgement later?
