Tort claim experience

I'd like for someone to share thier experience with the tort claim filing experience. I am a SPC. Currently in the process of becoming the "Holder in due course" of the Miller Act Bonds (Bid, Performance & judgement bonds) that were used to incarcerate me. How long did it take to get a settlement/ judgement? How much were you compensated? Did they issue a check? Did it go to international court?
